How does monitoring system work? |

You activate the home alarm system The home alarm system sounds - When an intruder triggers a protected zone, Armet Home Security alarm system sounds, letting the intruder know he's been discovered. The security system senses something. System waits for 30 to 45 seconds - The security system waits 30 to 45 seconds to give the homeowner or the employee a chance to deactivate the system to prevent false alarms. Monitoring station receives the alarm signal - If the alarm is not deactivated the security system sends a message to the monitoring company over telephone lines. The signal tells our monitoring centers what area of your home triggered the alarm so our monitoring professionals can act. We call you - Our monitoring company receives the message and verifies the alarm by immediately calling your home. And in the event of a true emergency we contact the proper authorities to protect you, your assets and your family. The authorities respond. |

Whenever your alarm is activated, one of our trained monitoring representatives will call you right away to confirm that everything is fine at your home or business. Simply inform them of the false alarm. You can also call us at 818-242-0022 or monitoring station at 888-467-1119 to report a false alarm. Please have your account number and password handy for identification purposes. |

My alarm went off accidentally, and I quickly put in the code and shut it off. I expected to receive a call from Armet Alarm & Electronics, Inc., but no one called. Why? |

The system allows a brief period for you to turn off your system. If a person with a correct pass code shuts off the alarm system while it is transmitting an alarm signal, the alarm will also transmit an abort or cancel signal to prevent a false alarm. |

How do I change the people on my call list? |
